Summer time came to Monaco with France's: from 1923 until the Second World War the two kept it from the last Saturday in March to the first Saturday in October. After the war France dropped the seasonal change, and Monaco, which had followed Paris time since 28 March 1911, moved to Central European Time. Summer time returned in 1976, when France brought it back after the oil crisis. It has run every year since, and since France took up the European Union's dates Monaco has changed on the last Sundays of March and October.
