Saint Pierre and Miquelon has 11 public holidays in 2026 and 11 in 2027, the same list as metropolitan France, set by the French Labour Code. Two of the 2026 days fall on a weekend, the Assumption on Saturday 15 August and All Saints' Day on Sunday 1 November, which leaves nine on weekdays.

Unlike most of overseas France, the archipelago adds no day of its own. Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Réunion, Saint Barthélemy and Saint Martin each keep a day for the abolition of slavery, New Caledonia a citizenship day and Wallis and Futuna two feasts of its own. Alsace and Moselle keep Good Friday and 26 December; the islands do not.

The Fête basque is not on the list either. Its 43rd edition ran from 10 to 16 August 2026 and filled Saint-Pierre with pelota and Basque rural sports, without a statutory day off.
